We can’t play together in multiplayer – we get “Error code 17”

  • The error means that all players trying to play together don’t have the same version of the game
  • Make sure all players update the game to the latest version

We have problems playing online with our PS5

  • Make sure all players have the latest version of the game
  • A reason why clients might not be able to connect to your game can be because of your router
  • You need to enable port forwarding on your router for the PS5

We can’t see each other in the Goat Simulator 3 “Friend” menu to add each other

  • If playing on PC: All players need to own the game to be able to see each other in the Friends menu of Goat Simulator 3
  • Make sure you have added each other as friends on your platform page before starting the game
  • If you just added each other as friends and still can’t find each other; try refreshing the friend page or restarting the game
  • Make sure all players update the game to the latest version
