This just happened to me on January 30th 2025. Playing on PS5. Did not receive any pop-up message stating the save file was corrupted. Seems like it automatically reset the player save progress. It still shows the completed events and unlocked goat towers but everything else (gear, collectibles, ramps, instincts, etc.) appears to have been lost. Unfortunately the save file auto-synced to the cloud before I was able to restore it. I was 30 hours in and had completed the game and was just doing clean up to get the remaining trinkets and instincts for the platinum trophy. I refuse to start over knowing this could happen again at any moment, and seeing the dates on these other posts spanning back some 18 months I don’t hold out much hope that it will be addressed anytime soon, so this is incredibly disappointing from a customer perspective.
