In the Trial of the Brain rift level, the balls that reveal the colour combination in the Ball game are greyed out and do not display the right colours, preventing progression. Please see the attached image for reference. This issue is occurring on my PS5.
Update - Note this is also the same for the puzzle master quest.
Same for me on ps5, unable to advance the game since i cant get through this event.
If I were you, I’d just play the game legitimately. That’s what I did and I’ve now 100% the DLC
As i put in the other thread about this, the layout for the pins changes every time it resets. So to do it legitimately someone would have to guess every peg with 100 percent accuracy for each row on that attempt.
That is not something that is going to happen legitimately. But congrats on completing it when it wasnt bugged i guess.
I did the challenge when it wasn’t working actually. You have to solve the combination by referring to the four bulbs on the right of each line
Also to clarify, you only have to get the correct colour combination for one line. Not for the entire board
Have you tried reinstalling?
How do you figure out what the 4 bulbs mean? I am driving myself crazy bc nothing seems to be adding up? All the balls under the 
are black so that’s no help

Don’t worry, you can do it! On the right of each line there are four black bulbs. If one of the bulbs lights up green, then that means one of the coloured balls is in the correct position. If one of the bulbs lights up white, then that means the correct coloured ball is in the wrong position. Do keep in mind that there could be a couple of balls that are supposed to be the same colour in the correct colour combination.
