A game that is superb fun until suddenly it isn't

One thing I notice about all the goat games is that they are great, nay revolutioary fun, until they aren’t. The core of the goat games is the jankiness. The utter trolling that is the game. It is a game about everything that a game should not be and yet that is what makes them marvelous. Except, when most of the game has been played to death, and there are only a few tasks remaining, and those tasks are not aided by but are in fact hindered by the jankiness. Suddenly the jankiness gets completely in the way of completing the game. The jankiness gets in the way, and the game is not fun any more. The fun just suddenly stops like an oscilloscope during a coronary. Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee………… The game goes from being hero to zero in a single heartbeat. That is the great shame of the goats games. They run out of steam in an instant. After that it just feels like a task. Like LOL or WOW or any of those “second job” games that people use in place of heroin. Then, I just stop, and it’s over. The romance is done. The clever little bits that remain in the game will be forever unplayed because the jankiness that makes a goat game what it is is never less and the cleverness just gets completely overpowered. The game is over. There is nothing left to say. Goat Sim is not a game anyone can play forever. It just turns into rage bait.
