DLC not always working

Multiverse and Baadlands does not always work on my sons Xbox even with myself signed in. This is not my Home Xbox but it has worked for him previously with me signed in. My daughter is also playing on my Home Xbox with her profile, and of course the DLC works fine without me being signed in as expected. They have previously played this dlc together in a party on separate Xbox’s on their own accounts. This issue is intermittent which makes it even more frustrating. I’ve read the previous forum questions and responses and have attempted logging in in different orders, uninstalling and reinstalling, power cycling etc. and none are full proof. Please help!
