So yeah will there be different animals you play as or can you unlock them

I hope so, because that was one of the reasons I kept playing it. I really loved how many “mutators” (different goats) the first game had.

yes it was shown in screenshots and video showcase  
known animals such as: giraffe, pig, rhinoceros
